3 penjaga gol pasukan Terengganu Football Club (TFC) musim ini bakal bersaing sengit bagi memburu tempat sebagai penjaga gawang utama pasukan. 3 orang penjaga gol TFC, Ilham Amirullah, Sharmiza Yusof dan pemain muda, Muhammad Rahadiazli dilihat telah memberikan komitmen dan persembahan yang baik semasa latihan dan juga jelajah pra-musim baru-baru ini yang memperlihatkan saingan sengit bakal berlaku diantara ketiga-tiga pemain ini.
Ilham Amirullah yang merupakan penjaga gol utama Terengganu FC pada musim lepas dilihat bakal mendapat saingan baru daripada pemain baru meningkat naik, Rahadizali yang juga telah mempamerkan aksi cemerlang semasa perlawanan pra-musim terutama semasa perlawanan menentang Hougang United yang telah membuatkan pemain ini menjadi buah mulut peminat TFC sendiri. Sharmiza Yusof, salah seorang penjaga gawang berpengalaman juga dilihat bakal memberikan impak besar dalam perebutan tempat ini. Bagi pengendali pasukan TFC, persaingan ini adalah persaingan yang positif dan sihat dimana kesemua penjaga gawang begitu komited bagi memburu tempat sebagai penjaga gawang pasukan ini. Baginya, setiap pemain ini mempunyai karakter dan kelebihan masing-masing dan ini sebenarnya memberikan banyak kelebihan buat pasukan kerana penjaga gawang juga adalah antara pemain utama yang boleh menjayakan taktikal dan gaya permainan yang diterapkan bagi sesebuah pasukan itu.
Persaingan ini diharapkan dapat terus memberikan impak positif buat pasukan ini dari awal sehingga akhir saingan Liga Malaysia pada musim ini dan semestinya semangat yang ditunjukkan oleh pemain-pemain ini sangat menggembirakan bukan sahaja pengendali pasukan namun buat kesemua penyokong pasukan Terengganu.
